We gathered the answers to some popular questions below.
If you can’t find your question below feel free to contact us, and we’ll be happy to help.

1. How can I buy these arrangements?

Go to the Browse all arrangements page – details of how to buy copies of the arrangement are provided. Most, however, can be purchased through Sheet Music Plus.

2. How do I find out about your new arrangements?

New arrangements are publicised on the What’s New page and on Facebook.

3. Most of your arrangements are for women’s voices. What if I want one of your arrangements transposed for men’s voices?

Contact me on lthorburn (at) viria.com.au and I can do that – I will let you know when it is available.

4. Women’s barbershop arrangements are written with the lower voices in the bass clef. My women’s chorus only reads in the treble clef.

My arrangements can be set for SSAA with all voices in the treble clef. Contact me to request this, or look on Sheet Music Plus to see if an SSAA version is already available.

5. Which of these arrangements is contestable (within Sweet Adelines International rules?)

Any that are marked “contestable” on the arrangements page are contestable. Any that are contestable for women’s voices (under SAI) are also contestable for men (BHS or Barbershop Harmony Society and BHA or Barbershop Harmony Australia) when suitably transposed and for women under LABBS (Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers).

6. Will you arrange songs on commission?

Yes! Just email me and we can start talking.

7. Do you have learning tracks available?

Most of my arrangements have learning tracks – see the links on the arrangements page for details.

8. By purchasing your arrangement does this give my group permission to perform it?

No, you must seek a separate performance licence through whatever organisation grants this right in your country.
